‘Guitar Hero’ is on the verge of a comeback
Guitar Heroes has been on the decline for the last few years, but this year the series is poised to make a comeback.
The hit rhythm-based action game is getting a new spin with a new game in development called Guitar Hero: World Tour, a Guitar Hero game that combines the live and online gameplay with a live-action musical performance.
Guitar Hero World Tour will be available in the first quarter of 2019, according to the game’s publisher, Electronic Arts.
Guitar Heroes is currently the most popular rhythm-action game in the world, and Electronic Arts plans to release more rhythm-oriented games in the future.
Guitar heroes new world tour will be “a totally new take on the game that’s unique to Guitar Hero”, according to Guitar Heroes CEO, Chris Bachalo.
Guitar hero World Tour has a lot in common with the original Guitar Hero, and will “provide players with a brand-new way to experience the original guitar hero game.”
Guitar Hero fans who are new to the series have a lot to look forward to.
“With the addition of new Guitar Hero gameplay and the ability to join the live action musical experience, the next chapter of the Guitar Hero story will take place with an entirely new look, feel, and atmosphere”, Bachalo told GamesBeat.
Electronic Arts Guitar Hero is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2019.
