Man charged with shooting ‘ludicrous’ video of himself performing oral sex on a homeless man
A 32-year-old man was charged with making and distributing a video of his performing oral sexual acts on a man who had been sleeping on the sidewalk near his house, prosecutors said Monday.
The man, who prosecutors said had been homeless for more than a year, said he had never been approached by police and had not done anything wrong.
He was charged Monday with felony solicitation of a person under 18, a Class 4 felony.
Authorities arrested Joseph R. Davis on Monday after receiving information from a tip, according to a news release from Washington County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.
The investigation began when police received a tip that Davis was engaging in sexual activity with a man on the street in the neighborhood of Newbury Park, Wagstaff said.
Police searched Davis’ apartment and found video showing him performing oral and vaginal sex on the homeless man, according a news report.
Davis is being held in the Washington County Jail on a $250,000 cash bail, the release said.
Davis, who has lived in Washington County since 2002, was released on $25,000 bail on Sunday, according the news release.
