‘Star Wars’ writer ‘has the best ideas’ for ‘Avengers 4’
A writer for Marvel’s upcoming “Avenger’s 4” film has the “best ideas” for the upcoming sequel, Marvel’s Kevin Feige revealed Wednesday.
“He’s such a creative mind.
He can write the best thing in the world, and he knows what the film is going to be,” Feige said on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
“The one thing I can tell you is that he is the most gifted storyteller that we’ve ever had on the Marvel movie universe.
It’s the best team that we have, it’s the most talented.
And I think that Kevin has the best idea to be the director of Avengers 4.”
Feige was speaking at the Comic-Con International convention in San Diego, which was streamed live online by Disney.
The announcement comes as the film’s storyboards for the sequel, which are due to be unveiled next week, are being reviewed by Marvel’s writers.
“The Avengers” series has become a favorite among the comic book industry.
“It’s really fun to work with,” Feig said of the team that was tasked with bringing the characters to life.
“And Kevin’s so talented, and his idea is incredible.
And the story he’s telling is going in the right direction.
It feels like a natural fit.”
Feig also confirmed that he will direct the film.
“He’s got such a passion for the Marvel movies and his vision is so fantastic.
And his sense of humor is such a wonderful thing, too,” he said.
“We’ll see how the film pans out.
We’re going to see how it pans out.”
